  1. If you're trying out Speed for the first time, be sure to run SETUP.EXE
  2. first, especially if you have Windows.  Not only does it create the  
  3. sub-directory \dos\speed for the storage of preference and macro files, but
  4. it corrects the error present in MS Windows 3.1x and Windows95 that causes
  5. interference with Speed's new comma key for the numpad.

  7. If you don't have Windows, then you may or may not run SETUP.EXE, but if you
  8. do, you may delete the _default.pif file in the root (c:\   ) directory --
  9. it's not needed.

  11. If for some reason you need to reverse what SETUP does, then run REMOVE.BAT.
